Bioavailability study.

Bioavailability refers to how quickly and to what extent vitamins and trace elements are absorbed and are available at the site of action – in the cell. As part of this internationally published study, the blood values of 107 apparently healthy volunteers who had taken 2x 10 ml of LaVita daily were examined over a period of six months.

Specific vitamins and trace elements were measured in the blood to determine how much of the various ingredients was taken in. The study also examined whether the substances were absorbed into the cells and were thus able to actively intervene in metabolic processes. The study was published in the autumn of 2015 in the 'Neuroendocrinology letters' scientific journal.

Study details

Long-term improvement of complete blood count

Study results

All measured blood values (vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, folic acid, B12, biotin, E, K, iron, chromium, zinc, selenium, coenzyme Q10, L-carnitine and beta-carotene) with the exception of copper improved significantly over the course of the study, and most of them very significantly.

Importance for humans

The result proves the very high bioavailability, which was measurable for all substance groups: vitamins, trace elements, secondary plant substances and vitaminoids. It is also important to note that none of the vitamin values exceeded the optimum range. This demonstrates the excellent composition and dosage of LaVita.

Immune system

Study results

The following vital substances and their progression relevant to the immune system were measured: Zinc, vit. B6, vit. B12, selenium highly significantly increased; folic acid, iron significantly increased.

Importance for humans

The good availability of these vital substances is an important requirement for their influence on the immune system. It has been scientifically proven that iron, folic acid, selenium, vitamin B12, vitamin B6 and zinc contribute to normal immune system function.

Fatigue and recuperation

Study results

The following vital substances and their progression relevant to tiredness and fatigue were measured: Vitamin B2, B6, biotin, vitamin B12 highly significantly increased; folic acid, iron, niacin significantly increased; pantothenic acid increased.

Importance for humans

The good availability of these vital substances is the foundation for their effectiveness against fatigue and exhaustion. Moreover, it underscores their importance for regeneration and fighting fatigue. It has been scientifically proven that iron, folic acid, niacin, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid and vitamin B6 contribute to the reduction of fatigue.

Energy and performance

Study results

The following vital substances and their progression relevant to performance were measured: Vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, biotin highly significantly increased; folic acid, iron, niacin significantly increased; pantothenic acid increased.

Importance for humans

The good availability of these vital substances is the prerequisite for their positive influence on performance, energy and fitness and in their fight against fatigue. Because these substances are of great importance for the supply of the energy systems in our cells, as well as for our metabolism. Iron, folic acid, niacin, vitamin B2, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid and vitamin B6 contribute to the reduction of fatigue and tiredness. Biotin, iron, niacin, vitamin B2, vitamin B1, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid and vitamin B6 contribute to normal energy metabolism.

Concentration and memory

Study results

The following vital substances and their progression relevant to cognitive abilities were measured: zinc highly significantly increased; iron highly significantly increased; pantothenic acid increased.

Importance for humans

The good availability of these vital substances is the prerequisite for their positive influence on concentration and memory. It has been scientifically proven that iron and zinc contribute to normal cognitive function. Pantothenic acid also supports normal mental performance.

Mental state and nervous system

Study results

The following vital substances and their progression relevant to mental state and the nervous system were measured: Biotin, vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 highly significantly increased; niacin, folic acid significantly increased.

Importance for humans

The good availability of these vital substances is the foundation for their positive impact on mental state and the nervous system. Biotin, folic acid, niacin, vitamin B1, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 support normal psychological function, while vitamin B2, vitamin B1, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, biotin and niacin are involved in the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Skin, hair and nails

Study results

The following vital substances and their progression relevant to healthy and beautiful skin, hair and nails were measured: Biotin, selenium, zinc, vitamin B2 increase highly significantly, and niacin significantly.

Importance for humans

The good availability of these vital substances is the foundation for healthy skin, hair and nails, and thus a beautiful and healthy appearance. It has been scientifically proven that Biotin, niacin and vitamin B2 contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Zinc and selenium contribute to the maintenance of normal nails, and together with biotin, they also contribute to the maintenance of normal hair.
